Differentiation of premises in hospitals for current disinfection:

  • The 1-st category is the bactericidal level of disinfection. All premises and objects which are not in touch with patients like civil premises, technical services, auditoriums.
  • The 2-nd category is the bactericidal level of disinfection. Premises and furniture in somatic in-patient units, which are in direct contact with patients are considered potentially infected. It is necessary to clean in them in combination with disinfectants.
  • The 3-rd category is the virucidal level of disinfection. Premises and furniture in surgery, urology, gynecology, infectious and children's departments. These premises are considered infected. The current disinfection should be done here every day. After the patient is discharged from hospital, the final disinfection also should be done.
  • The 4-th category is the virucidal level of disinfection. These are Premises and furniture that need the high level of disinfection like operating-rooms, isolation wards and laboratories for sterile researches.
